This is an Ametek Vacuum Motor for your Centralux, Electrolux models 1580, 1590, ECV1590A, ECV1690A and E177A, 120 volt.
This motor has a flat bottom.
This motor has sealed bearings in it so dust and dirt will not get into the system. This allows for a longer motor life. The factory motor does not have this sealed bearing.
Please Note: Some Electrolux 1590's have the motor with the tapered bottom. If this is what you have you will need to order part #MO079.
It is suggested you replace the motor gasket part #MO512.
Protect your motors from dust and dirt by using a motor filter. This prolongs the life of your motor and is a must for all motors. See our part #MO553.
