Nutone

Nutone has been a manufacturer of central vacuums for many years. During the latter part on the 1900s, Nutone manufactured proprietary inlet valves and hoses that fit primarily the Nutone systems. Installed by many builders the Nutone systems continue their journey for new and innovative products.

In 2006, Nutone introduced its new line of "VX Series" central vacuums that are designed to meet the cleaning needs of your home.

With this new slim design and 475 Air Watts of power this Nutone VX475 central vacuum unit easily handles homes up to 6000 square feet. Deep cleaning of your carpets is now a breeze. Boasts the new HEPA filtration with Microban protection. Our new filter bags and filters feature HEPA rated media and Teflon anti-stick technology. Dust and bacteria are trapped better than ever before.

Accurate bag-full lights and progressive indicator lights tell you in a glance when to change the bag. Features a true "bag-full" light and shuts down automatically to avoid rupturing the bag. Has simplified bag removal and filter changing. Just open the front-facing door panel and withdraw the full bag. The EasySnap bag change mechanism closes the opening immediately upon removal, so what goes in stays in. Tap the clean side of the filter and dirt stuck to it will fall into the debris bucket-not onto the floor.
