This motor has sealed bearings in it so dust and dirt will not get into the system. This allows for a longer motor life. The factory motor does not have this sealed bearing.

This vacuum uses 2 motors. You may want to replace both motors at the same time as Ametek motors are designed to operate up to 600 hours before they need replacing. If one motor has failed the other will most likely fail shortly there after. It is much easier to replace them both now and save the time and effort.

THIS IS THE TOP MOTOR. This motor replaces the old motors #116429 and #116311 and is much more powerful than any previous motors!
If you need the bottom motor, see our part #MO052.
